v1.1

Precise resource management is very important for advanced players.

Fuel - Primary Resource

This is the main resource you use to clear snow. You recover it naturally over time. You can also get it from daily tasks and by converting Coal at the end of a stage.

Key Point: The level of your Coat determines how fast you recover Fuel. A higher level gives you a larger total amount of Fuel during the entire event.

Coal - Flexible Balance

You use Coal to upgrade the Fire Pit. Important rule: At the end of a stage, the system converts your remaining Coal into Fuel rewards.

Principle: Only upgrade the Fire Pit when necessary. Save all extra Coal to convert it into Fuel.

Survivor - Efficiency Boost

There is a total of 5 Survivor characters in each stage. Rescuing a Survivor greatly increases the size of your snow-clearing area. This is the cheapest way to work faster.

Priority: When you enter a new stage, your first task is to rescue any Survivor located near the Fire Pit.

Gear Upgrade Priority

The system will delete the experience points used for upgrades after the event ends. The levels of your gear will also reset to Level 1.

Gear NameCore EffectUpgrade Rationale
P0 Coat Fuel Recovery Speed Boost and Damage Mitigation Top Priority. This determines your maximum Fuel production for the whole event. You must upgrade this to the maximum level on Day 1.
P1 Gloves Reduced Fuel Consumption and Health Boost High Priority. This is very important if you want to clear the maximum number of stages. It allows you to clear a larger area of snow using the same amount of Fuel.
P2 Boots Movement Speed Boost and Fire Pit Health Regen Boost Medium Priority. This is important if you want to collect items. It helps you run quickly across the map when you have a speed buff.
P3 Snowbuster Coverage Range and Attack Power Low Priority. You do not need to upgrade this early because rescuing each Survivor already increases your clearing area by a large amount.

Key Decision: Fire Pit Upgrade Limit

Using more Coal is not always good. When your Fire Pit reaches a certain level, it is better to save your Coal to convert it into Fuel.

Game ScenarioRecommended Fire Pit LevelExcess Handling Strategy
Standard Clearing (Stages 1 to 20) Level 1 to Level 2 The snow environment is mild. Unlock the basic melting area. Keep all your extra Coal so the system can convert it into Fuel at the end of the stage.
Difficult Stages (Stage 25 and higher) Level 3 The snow in the center is very thick. Upgrading to Level 3 helps you melt snow automatically, which saves a large amount of manual Fuel. Do not keep the Fire Pit at a low level here, unless you have almost no Coal.
Extreme Fuel Saving Playstyle Level 1 Throughout This playstyle requires very good movement skills. Do not upgrade the Fire Pit at all. Instead, rescue all 5 Survivor characters and move very carefully. Convert all your Coal into Fuel to reach the highest stage possible.

Max Clearing Playstyle

Try to reach the highest stage possible to get all the stage completion rewards.

Fast 95% Stage Clear

Finish the stage and go to the next one as soon as your progress reaches 95%. It is a waste of Fuel to clear the last 5% of the snow.

Convert Coal to Fuel

Keep your Fire Pit at Level 2 or Level 3. Use the Fuel rewards from completing stages to keep clearing new stages continuously.

How to Use Rocket Items

Any unused Rocket item does not disappear when the event ends. Do not use them in the early stages. Only use them to destroy dark and thick ice blocks after Stage 20.

Theme Picture Collection Playstyle

Collect fragment items to unlock permanent island decorations and City Skin rewards.

Focus Only on the Beast Enemy

In stages that have any Beast enemy, you should only clear snow to make a walking path. Your main goal is to defeat the Beast to get fragment items.

Maximized Bonus Levels

Bonus stages (like Stage 5, 10, and 15) give you unlimited Fuel. Use this time to clear all the snow on the map and open all the chests before you finish the stage.

Map Search Feature

If you receive a duplicate fragment, it automatically turns into a Map Fragment. When you collect a large amount of Map Fragment items, use the Map Search feature to consume them for new draws. You might still get duplicates, but this is the main way to complete your picture collection.

Advanced Movement and Combat Tips

Hunting the Elk

Upgrading your Boots makes you move faster and reduces the Fuel cost to kill enemies. Defeating an Elk gives you Coal and unlimited Fuel for 20 seconds. Use this unlimited Fuel buff to quickly clear areas that usually cost a large amount of Fuel.

Zigzag Movement Pattern

Walk in a zigzag pattern. Use the edge of your snow-clearing circle to touch uncleared areas. Do not walk over areas you have already cleared.

Luring for Double Kills

Make the Beast enemy follow you near a Snowman. Attack them both at the same time. This maximizes your Coal and fragment gains.

Spinning Around the Snowman

When you find a large Snowman, activate a strong snow-clearing buff. Walk in circles around the Snowman to hit it many times quickly and destroy it instantly.

Mistakes to Avoid

Free-to-Play Players Should Target Stage 16 or 19

Stage 16 is easier and gives highly cost-effective rewards. Stage 19 is harder but gives better rewards. After you clear Stage 16, you should stop. Do not enter Stage 17. Convert all your remaining Fuel into Rocket items before the event ends. After you save many Rocket items across several events, use them all at once to reach Stage 19.

Saving Rocket Items

If you have collected all the fragment items you need, you can save your remaining Rocket items for the next event.

Do Not Skip Bonus Levels

Use your unlimited Fuel to collect all the resources on the map. Do not finish the stage immediately just because there are no enemies.

Coat Priority

Upgrade your Coat to the maximum level on Day 1. This helps you recover Fuel faster and gives you more Fuel during the whole event.

Penalty for Dying

If you die, you lose 10% of your Coal and you lose all your active buffs. Watch your health carefully in high-level stages.
