- 1. The Bear Hunt event is one of the most rewarding alliance activities in Whiteout Survival. It provides Essence Stone items and Enhancement XP Component items. You need these items to upgrade Hero Gear. You might initiate a rally against the Bear Trap as a rally leader. You might join the rally as a member. In either case, you must maximize your damage output to get the best rewards.

Best Heroes for the Bear Hunt Event
- 1. Infantry Hero Selection: Jeronimo > Hector > Natalia > Flint > Magnus
- 2. Lancer Hero Selection: Dominic > Mia(Exclusive Gear>=6) > Karol > Sonya/Renee/Reina
- 3. Marksman Hero Selection: Exclusive weapon skills and Hero abilities influence your choice. However, newer generation Heroes have superior base stats. You do not need to overthink your Marksman Hero choice. You should simply use the latest available generation.
Optimal March Ratio for Maximum Damage (Infantry, Lancer, and Marksman)
- 1. Before Generation 8: The Lethality stat of your Lancer troops and the Lethality stat of your Marksman troops are similar at this stage. We recommend maintaining a higher Lancer ratio. This should be around 25% to 30%. This helps you stably trigger the damage buffs of your Lancer Heroes.
- 2. Generation 8 and Later: Your Marksman Lethality stat might exceed your Lancer Lethality stat by more than 358 points. When this happens, you should significantly reduce your Lancer ratio. You should drop it to 10% to 15%. You should also push your Marksman ratio above 85%.
- 3. The Bear Trap has specific damage mechanics. Because of this, your march should contain no less than 5,000 Infantry troops.
- 4. Note: There is no absolute perfect ratio. You must fine-tune your ratio based on your actual Lethality stats. You should test adjustments of 1% to 5%. This helps you find your personal damage peak.
